Ghost Stories.... Just added, a third weekend for The Ghost Story Tour of Washington! Ghost Story Tour dates now include: October 17th at 8:00 pm, October 18th at 8:00pm, October 24th at 8:00, October 25th at 6pm and 8pm, October 31st at 8pm and November 1st at 6pm and 8pm. No reservations- meet your ghostly guide at Vermont and I (eye) NW and buy tickets from the ghost (in costume, with sign and ghostly light) who will be right across Vermont from the McPherson Square Metro exit (also called the White house exit)

The next "Courage! The Civil War in Washington" tour will take place on September 20th. This tour meets at 10th and E NW (Cosi) at 11:00 am. Tickets can be purchased right before the tour from Natalie. TICKETS page for details

The First Efforts at bringing the past to life: In 1999, Natalie launched the program " What's Past is Prologue" at the Historical Society of Washington. The first appearance was at an event that featured the City Council of Washington and then Mayor, Anthony Williams. Upon meeting "Clara Barton", hizzoner quipped that she didn't look bad for someone that had been dead that long. Ms Barton returned serve by telling the Mayor that he didn't look bad himself! He roared and the evening was a success. Gale Munro played Clara and the award winning actor Fred Strother played Douglass. Since then We've sent Alexander Hamilton to Capitol Hill and we provided characters for the Air and Space Museum's 50 years in Space exhibit.  Natalie has been making appearances as Dolley Madison and if you have need of a historical figure, contact us, we may have what you're looking for here.

A Dickens comes to the tour!

Charles Dickens' great, great grandson, Gerald Dickens , visited the "A Dickens of a Tour" on December 10th! He bowed and greeted cast and director Natalie with congratulations and hearty praise for our actors and the tour. Chatting with him at Chapters books after the tour was a delight. He thanked Natalie for keeping the story of Dickens visit alive and for performing theatre on the streets of Washington. His stories about working as an actor in England would have done his ancestor proud. And lthough this is his final American tour, he hinted that he would come back some day. Perhaps we can put him in a tour...hmmmn?

I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the Civil War walking tour...  It was like watching a play with the added benefit of being able to interact with the performers… It was not just entertaining, it was educational as well.  The acting was great--thoroughly enjoyable!
