Catherine
Aselford made her professional acting debut in 1982, later graduating
from Catholic University with a BFA in
Theatre. Her stage work includes The Center Company, Source
Theatre, Cherry Red Productions and The Georgetown Theatre Company, of
which she is Artistic Director. She has appeared in Unsolved
Mysteries, America's Most Wanted and numerous television
commercials.

Michael
Hovde is from Germantown, Maryland He is a student at Townson State and has been in "The
Laramie Project" at Black Rock Center for the Arts and numerous
Artstream productions, "Northwest."

Nicolette Stearns
actress,director, playwright and theatre educator. She
is an original cast member of
Imagination Stage. She is also a co-founder of Artstream Theatre
www.art-stream.org.
Other roles include Helga in “Kindertransport” She is thrilled to join the Strolls.

Mariel
Penberthy has studied at the Studio Theatre and the Lansburgh, and
performed with several theatres in D.C. area, mostly recently with
Scena Theatre and Fraudulent Productions. She continues to work on
local film projects, including playing a succession of evil aliens in
the cable show Star Crash.

Schmitz is a devotee of the study of American life, especially during
the Civil War years, an amateur costumer, and a non-actor who
thoroughly enjoys playing a part.

Chris Davenport
is a local actor, director, and teacher. Recently, he has performed
with Rorschach Theatre, Tsunami Theatre, American Century Theater, PEDC
Theatre, and Le Neon Theatre, among others. He has directed for Le Neon
Theatre, Adventure Theatre, and Imagination Stage, where he also
teaches acting.

Alice
Anne English is a local actress who has performed in a variety of
theatrical styles. Favorite roles include Aunt Cornelia and Lena in the Samantha at the
Heurich program, Princess Puffer in The Mystery of Edwin Drood,
Blitzen in The Eight Reindeer Monologs, and Malcolm in Macbeth.

Mitchell
Brandon is excited to to be a part
of this historical experience. He is no stranger to standing on
the street in historic garb, having "lived in 1776 in Philadelphia" working with Historic
Philadelphia. He grew up in another historic city, New Orleans, and received a BA in
Theatre from Northwestern State University. He has also worked with
several theatres in the DC area.

Brian
has played many different stage, television and film roles in the Denver and Washington, DC metro areas, ranging from
Vanya (UNCLE VANYA at Classika Theatre), to a Balinese king (with
GAMELAN TUNAS MEKAR) to a police hero for America's Most Wanted. He has a BA
in Theatre and Music from Naropa University, Boulder, CO. He is also a
singer, musician and acting teacher and received a Helen Hayes Award
nomination for Best Sound Design.

she begins work on new shows, Gale's friends always assure her that she
has been typecast. In reciting some of her credits, she would like
prospective tourgoers to understand something of herself, thereby
assuring themselves of a lively time. She has played a ladybug (James
and the Giant Peach, Adventure Theatre), murdering impresaria (Bloody
Murder, Source Theatre Festival), and saccharine cosmetic
saleslady/terrorist-hunter (Citizen Patrol, MuseFire
Productions).

Muravchik has performed at The Kennedy Center, Round House Theatre, Le
Neon Theatre and others. She also teaches acting. Madeline is a
graduate of the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU.

As
well as appearing as historical personages in Historic Strolls tours, Ellie
Nicoll often performs locally with Scena and Le Neon Theatre. She most
recently appeared with the Royal Danish Ballet as an English Tourist in
Napoli.

A Washington, DC area actress whose interest
in history and theatre often merge, Barbara performed in the Civil
War Musical (Stonewall Country, Lexington, VA). Fluent in French, she
often tours short adaptations of Moliere and is active in bringing the
works of Shakespeare to area schools

Sydney-Nicole
Has appeared for the Strolls as Elizabeth Keckley and Alethia
Tanner. She has appeared as Sojourner Truth for the Humanities Council
of Washington.

Dwane
Starlin
Dwane
co-founded The Barnstormers Theatre Company, producing and performing
in The Love Course and Gurney X2, along with co-writing
and performing in Rock of Aged, the Social Security Tour at the
23rd Annual Source Theatre Festival. He was selected as the spokesman
of the Jonathan Green Grass Seed Company and will appear on product
packaging in 2004. He has recently appeared in a staged reading of a
new musical, Patent Pending, playing an undercover Patent Fraud
Agent as well as the trumpet and the kazoo.
